To some extent, the godox actually sounds better in noise cancelation than the hohem. The distortion is so minimal i can barely hear it!!!

The amount of features these new Chinese electric mopeds have is absolute bonkers. TCS? ABS? Radar? Cellular connectivity? NFC? Integration with wearables? It's very impressive to see how far they've come in such a short amount of time. Case in point, I have a Luyuan electric moped from 2016, at the time considered a top-of-the-line model. And although it still works perfectly, it doesn't even have an odometer.

Right now the ultra 3 has significant stitching errors especially with photos. Not so noticeable in videos but the photos are unusable in VR because the stitching errors stick out like a sore thumb! Nobody is talking about it but Kandao has no immediate fix for the problem.

great early review, would love to see some low light shots ! I have the qoocam 3 and the different colours on the two lenses is also an issue. With the X4 , the ultra 3 , insta RSONE 1 inch and the upcoming new gopro camera things are moving again. I just hope there is more improvements for low light conditions as noise in 360 videos is excessive at times. Favourite camera: insta RS one 1 inch. Keep up the great work dude!

for the weight you mentioned: i noticed this too with my Insta360 1inch360 edition is heavier than my insta360 x3 --> and i noticed when running with selfistick: the footage of the heavier 1inch360 is smoother.. less up-and-downs.. the mass helps here but: using it a 5km running-competion: it was the limit what i could hold for 20min running

Nice intro, looking forward to a more indepth review and comparison video. Quoocam 8k was the 1st consumer 8k 360 camera (and it was also 10 bit video) but had tons of issues that made it a flop. Before the 8k, Kandao had the QooCam which was a 4k 360 or 180 degree stereo VR camera. Hence the release of the Qoocam 3 and 3 Ultra - it's their third outing into the consumer 360 camera (they have a lot of experience in professional 360 cameras, including an enterprise version of the 8K which I think they still make). As an owner of the 8K I'm interested in how this camera overcomes the previous versions problems - especially the overheating and loss of focus issues that plagued the 8k. Looking forward to seeing the results of long shoots on hotter days to see how the focus goes. And yes more weight = more inertia = more z axis stability (less seesaw movement). You can use a longer selfie stick on other cameras to increase their inertia. It looks as if this camera is heavier than the 8k by almost 100g The 8k didn't have offset lenses. I don't know if this contributed to the loss of focus problems it had - in hot weather or after using it for a little while the camera would get hot and the thermal expansion of the components meant that the lenses went out of focus slightly and the images were not in focus. Having the fans on all the time mitigated aginst this to some level but not much and it made audio totally useless. However when it worked it was excellent - especially for photos with the 8 stacked DNGs giving great night shots (if nothing was moving) Another problem was a none removable battery that had a reputaion of ballooning up so I'm glad the Ultra has a removable battery.
